ENGEL for the fourth time in a row Prime Machinery Supplier of the Year

At the “British Plastics Industry Awards” the British subsidiary of ENGEL won the title “Prime Machine Supplier of the Year” for the fourth time in a row. The coveted prize was presented to Branch Manager Graeme Herlihy at a special ceremony at the London Hilton Park Hotel on 2 October.

The annual presentation of the “Plastics Industry Awards” is organised by the British trade journal “Plastics and Rubber Weekly” in collaboration with the British Plastics Federation to honour outstanding achievements in the British plastics industry. Four categories are assessed for the “Prime Machine Supplier of the Year” award: Machine Safety, Service and Support, Technical Innovation and Price-Performance Ratio. The winners of the respective categories are selected by direct, public online voting. In this year's selection ENGEL was again able to prevail against renowned competitors including Ferromatik, Netstal, Negri Bossi and Premier Moulding Machinery, becoming the first company to receive the award – following 2006, 2007 and 2008 – for the fourth time in a row.

In addition, for the first time ENGEL UK sponsored its own prize category: the “Processor of the Year” title went to Rosti Technical Plastics (UK) Ltd.
