Lower energy consumption or money back

Schwertberg/Austria, October 2010. According to the motto "Facts not promises" ENGEL has invited customers to participate in a spectacular energy bet with a "money back guarantee". Each customer who purchases a suitable energy package with a tie-bar-less ENGEL victory or ENGEL duo large-scale machine receives a guarantee that energy consumption will be lower than for a comparable hydraulic machine from the competition. ENGEL's wager: the cost of an energy package. Proof will be provided by way of energy measurement. In the event that the measurements at the customer's premises show a higher energy consumption for the ENGEL machine with energy package than for the competitor's machine, ENGEL will refund the costs of the energy package. Three fully electric world firsts

Schwertberg/Austria, October 2010. Fully electric machines mean high energy savings and highest precision. Whereas ten years ago two thirds of the electric machines in Europe were still being used in standard applications, this share has since fallen significantly to 20 %. The reason is the increasing availability of hydraulic machines with servo hydraulics which enable comparable energy savings. Fully electric machines are becoming increasingly dominant in the demanding medical technology and packaging market segments – industries in which great emphasis is placed on the highest level of productivity, competent system integration capabilities and maximum energy savings. In this market segment electric machines are ousting hydraulic machines with a memory. At the K Fair ENGEL is exhibiting fully electric e-motion machines with a high level of productivity hitherto unachieved by electric machines.
